The Paris Saint-Germain staff are carefully monitoring the state of health of Marco Asensio. The winger has just withdrawn due to injury for Spain’s next match.
Luis de la Fuente will be without two players next week against Cyprus, a match counting for the Euro 2024 qualifying. The Spain coach must note the withdrawal of Dani Olmo (RB Leipzig) and Marco Asensio (PSG).
The press release from the Spanish Federation (RFEF), published on Saturday, mentions the medical examinations carried out but without specifying the nature of the injuries. Olmo and Asensio were out on Friday evening, shortly before the break, during La Roja’s big victory in Georgia (1-7 – 5th day).
