Three AC Ajaccio supporters were sentenced this Friday, September 8 to twelve months in prison for the attack on eight-year-old Kenzo.
Three Ajaccio supporters, aged 20, were sentenced this Friday to 12 months’ suspended imprisonment. They also received a stadium ban for three years, as well as fines of 500 and 1,000 euros. During the trial, the defendants admitted to having entered the dressing room, but denied any violence.
On June 3, Kenzo, a young eight-year-old supporter of Olympique de Marseille, was invited to Corsica to watch his favorite team play. While this child suffering from brain cancer was in a box at the stadium with his father and brother, the three individuals burst in to hit the father before leaving with his Marseille jersey. A few days later, two of them were taken into police custody.

“These are fair sentences”, reacted Mr Frédéric Pourrière, one of the lawyers for Kenzo’s family. ” The court, rightly, condemned these young people for all the harm suffered by our clients. The clients are satisfied that the court clearly understood that violence was perpetrated on the children as well as on themselves. »
