The former Spain goalkeeping coach says his collaboration with Luis Enrique hasn’t been an easy time.

Between clear and smiling communication, adapted management and a rather interesting start to the season in terms of results and content, the Spanish technician has laid the foundations for what could be a great season, although there is still a lot to do.
Luis Enrique did not please everyone
But in the world of football more than anywhere else, it is difficult to please everyone and achieve unanimity wherever you go. This Wednesday, José Sambada, former Spain goalkeeping coach, was the guest of Radio Galega and spoke about his collaboration with Luis Enrique in the Spain team for a few months. The Spaniard admits having had a hard time with the current Parisian coach, and he did not mince his words.
“My period in the national team was the worst. Since I was a child, I have dreamed of achieving it, it is thought to be heaven and in the end, it is the closest thing to hell (…) There have been many things , I would need a lot of shows to explain them. For me, it was a complicated period. I had a long contract, I came with high expectations because I wanted to come back to Spain and what better place than the national team? But sometimes you come up against insurmountable difficulties. There are people who have such a big ego that they don’t like you overshadowing them in any way.”he snapped, clearly implying that he was talking about the Spanish technician.
