Almost 20 years after leaving the club, Sergio Ramos is making a comeback in Seville, where he was trained before creating his legend in the Spanish capital, at Real Madrid. The 37-year-old central defender, free of any contract this summer, took time to find a new base despite his more than decent season at Paris Saint-Germain. But the ex-Parisian will indeed evolve in Andalusia this year, even if his arrival makes talk among the Sevillian supporters.

During his presentation press conference, in his new colors, Sergio Ramos expressed his desire to be forgiven. “I recognized and apologized to part of the Sevilla supporters who were injured for wrong gestures, the youth made mistakes. I hope they can forgive me. Now we all come to defend this badge. We are all in the same boat”, says the experienced defender. As a reminder, in 2017, during a confrontation between Sevilla and Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos had celebrated his goal copiously while provoking the Andalusian fans, who whistled him in return. Since then, the Spaniard is no longer really welcome at the club and will have to be irreproachable to be forgiven for good.
