An important Paris Saint-Germain player could finally continue his adventure in the capital.

Once again, the leaders of Paris Saint-Germain experienced a bubbling transfer window. Committed on all fronts, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Luis Campos managed to close this summer window with a very big blow by securing the services of French international striker Randal Kolo Muani. But the file of the French vice-world champion was not the only one to animate this end of transfer window.

In the direction of the departures, the situations of several historical players of the club challenge the supporters. There is obviously the case of Marco Verratti. The oldest player in the squad, the little Italian, who arrived in 2012, could put an end to his great history with Paris Saint-Germain. While the club would have found common ground with the Qatari team of Al-Arabi, Verratti was not even included on the list of players selected for the group stage of the Champions League. Which says a lot about his near-term future.

Mercato: what if this historic player stayed at PSG?

Conversely, another important name in the Parisian locker room could stay in the capital. Against all expectations, Keylor Navas would have been, for his part, included in the list of players for the C1. The name of the Costa Rican goalkeeper circulated in Saudi Arabia, where Al-Hilal, Neymar’s new club, had targeted him. But he hasn’t found a way out yet. And if the Gulf markets are not yet closed, the hypothesis of seeing Navas stay in Paris is starting to gain momentum. As a reminder, in addition to number 1 Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG also has in its ranks the young Spanish goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, who arrived this summer from FC Barcelona.
