While he must be tried for discrimination last December, the former PSG coach is about to leave French territory.

Christophe Galtier has never coached abroad, although he has been in the business for almost fifteen years. The native of Marseille technician waited to be worried by justice to accept a first challenge outside the hexagonal borders.

Galtier expected in Qatar

According to RMC Sport, “Galette” is about to go to Qatar. The local club Al Duhail would have bet on him to ensure the succession of the Argentinian Hernan Crespo. There would only be a few details left to settle to complete this deal.

As a reminder, Galtier was in charge of PSG last season. His adventure at the head of the Ile-de-France team was very short. Due to an insufficient sports record and also because of his extra-sporting setbacks. The person concerned saw his rating drop to the lowest after the revelation of racist behavior on his part during his time on the bench of OGC Nice.

Galtier will not be the first French coach to manage Al Duhail. Before him, Sabri Lamouchi had notably taken care of this training. The Algerian Djamel Belmadi had also known this honor. A passage in the Gulf could do good to the double champion coach of France, especially if it allows him to avoid the prison box.
