The former PSG goalkeeper will sign a contract with Nice in the coming hours.

On June 26, 2017, Salvatore Sirigu terminated his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, after being loaned to Sevilla FC and Osasuna. The Italian international should soon return to Ligue 1 pitches. According to RMC Sport, he will commit to OGC Nice in the coming hours.

Free of any contract since his departure from Fiorentina at the end of last June, the 36-year-old goalkeeper is preparing to become the understudy of the Polish Marcin Bulka. He will replace Kasper Schmeichel, released from his contract at the end of the summer transfer window.

Last March, Salvatore Sirigu underwent surgery following a ruptured Achilles tendon. He had previously only played two matches with the Viola.
