Between Neymar and PSG, the love story has had its ups and downs. This began in 2017, when the capital club flirted with the Brazilian behind FC Barcelona. Convinced, the international auriverde betrayed the Catalans who could do nothing when the Ile-de-France residents paid 222 million euros to lift his release clause. Six years later, relations between Paris and Ney are icy.

Pushed out in the summer of 2022, on the orders of Kylian Mbappé, the Brazilian resisted and showed on the field that he could still contribute. Then, he was injured again last February against LOSC. Despite this, he repeated in an interview that he will still be a PSG player this season. It was his wish. Especially since with the possible departure of KM7, he had a leading position to regain. But in the end, Luis Enrique and Luis Campos told him that he was no longer part of the club’s plans.

Neymar lit up Paris

We learned that the player had also expressed the wish to leave, tired of the incessant attacks from the supporters. A few days later, he signed with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. Despite his wish to return to Barça, Neymar had to resign himself since the Culés had money problems. His possible return was not unanimous either. Which is not the case in Al-Hilal. The Saudis offered him an XXL salary and several benefits to pamper him. Despite his departure from the SPL, Neymar has a hard tooth against PSG.

Like Messi recently, he also let go during an interview given to 0′ Globo yesterday. “I was very happy with the year he lived, but at the same time very sad, because he lived both sides of the coin, he went to heaven with the Argentina team, won everything in recent years, and with Paris he’s been through hell, we’ve been through hell, he and I. We get angry, because we’re not here for nothing, we’re here to do our best, to be champions, to try to write history, that’s why we started playing together again , we gathered there to be able to write history. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it.”

PSG responds subtly

Then he put on a layer. “Messi left PSG in a way that, for football, he didn’t deserve. For all he is, all he does, everyone who knows him knows, he’s a guy who trains, who fights, if he loses he gets angry, and he was unjustly accused in my opinion. But at the same time, I was very happy that he won the World Cup. As you said, the football was fair this time, because with the elimination of the Brazilian team, Messi deserved to end his career like this.

After the victory against OL where Marquinhos got carried away for this new PSG (see video), Luis Enrique was invited to comment on Ney’s statements. “These are personal experiences, I don’t want to get into that. I can tell you about my experience. I’m absolutely delighted, I feel like I’m at the head of a rather unique team, with a club that trusts me 100%.” The Asturian therefore kicked into touch. But his club, questioned by The Teamwas more cash. “We don’t comment, we have a certain elegance. Curiously, the two players wanted to stay at PSG. A good little tackle for the two former stars of the club, who have multiplied the murderous outings in recent weeks.
