A completely crazy Arsenal-Man United!

Arsenal beat Manchester United in added time at the Emirates on Sunday. The Red Devils thought they had snatched the 3 points minutes before, but Alejandro Garnacho’s goal was disallowed by VAR.

The Emirates Stadium capsized with joy. And Premier League followers rejoiced again. Arsenal overcame Manchester United with two goals scored in added time (3-1) on Sunday afternoon. Surprised by Marcus Rashford, author of a superb strike (27th), the Gunners equalized in stride, by Martin Ødegaard (28th).

Mikel Arteta’s men, led by an untenable Gabriel Martinelli, then came up against the Mancunian defense. André Onana was perfect on his rare parades to achieve. The Red Devils even thought of the huge hold-up, with a counter-attacking goal from Alejandro Garnacho in the 88th minute, but the VAR detected a very small offside from the Argentine midfielder.

A Maguire-Evans defense for United…

Erik ten Hag then finished the meeting with Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans in defense (Raphaël Varane was forfeited, Lisandro Martinez was injured during the meeting). It did not fail. Evans deflected a strike from Declan Rice in added time for Arsenal’s 96th goal. Gabriel Jesus then spun on goal to score his team’s third goal (90th + 11).

At the international break, Arsenal is one of the 5 teams (with Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham) who have 10 points, two less than the leader, Man City. United, for its part, after having already sunk in a clash in London, against Tottenham, is in an already worrying 11th place.
