The transfer window in Saudi Arabia is still open, with two teams trying to land Paul Pogba from Juventus at the last minute.

The 30-year-old French midfielder had a disastrous return to Turin last season due to a series of health problems, but he doesn’t seem ready to give up just yet.

In the 1-1 draw against Bologna, Pogba made his first appearance for Juventus in three months as a substitute. The midfielder is trying to improve his physical condition in matches, but he could still join Saudi Arabia, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad are still trying to persuade Pogba to agree to join Saudi Arabia before the transfer window ends on September 7. The Frenchman fends off Saudi interest because he still wants to settle at Juventus, even though the club are said to be open to a transfer due to his high income. Pogba explicitly rejected Galatasaray’s attempts to chat with him, expressing his opinion.

With the deadline a few days away, Saudi clubs will have to step up their efforts to sign the 2018 World Cup winner or else the Frenchman will stay at Juventus, at least for now.
