Ligue 1 close to a billion

A figure much higher than the previous record, 2.22 billion, established last summer. In second place in the ranking of the biggest spending leagues, Ligue 1 made its appearance with 900 million euros spent almost half of which by the Paris Saint Germain.

For its part, the Saudi championship could exceed the billion euros spent by the end of its transfer window on September 7.
