Manchester City wants to continue its faultless. On the occasion of the fourth day of the Premier League, the reigning three-time English champion welcomes Fulham (kick-off at 4 p.m., a meeting to be followed live on FM). Pep Guardiola’s men have started the season very well with three league successes and six goals scored for only one conceded. Opposite, the Londoners took four points and have just snagged Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium (2-2).

For this meeting, Pep Guardiola must compose without De Bruyne and Stones (injured) but he aligns Doku from the start. Arrived from Rennes at the end of August, the Belgian winger will start on the left and will be in support of Haaland with Alvarez and Foden. Kovacic and Rodri will evolve in the midfield and Akanji returns to defense in place of Gvardiol. Side Fulham and Marco Silva, Benda, Lulic and Palhinha are absent. The French Diop holds in central defense as does the ex-Lyonnais Tete on the right. In the middle, Reed will compensate for the absence of Palhinha and in front, Jimenez will be supported by Wilson and De Cordova.

The official compositions

Manchester City: Ederson – Walker, Dias, Akanji, Aké – Kovacic, Rodri – Foden, Alvarez, Doku – Haaland.

Fulham: Leno – Tete, Ream, Diop, Robinson – Cairney, Reed, Pereira – Wilson, Jimenez, De Cordova.
