Even though the summer transfer window is closed for most European countries, Paris Saint-Germain still hope to send Marco Verratti to Qatar.

The transfer window ended Friday in France, and Paris Saint-Germain were very active in the home stretch, with the arrivals of Randal Kolo Muani and Bradley Barcola, and the departures of Juan Bernat, Colin Dagba, Timothée Pembélé or again Ismael Gharbi. But it’s probably not over!

If the PSG will no longer be able to recruit, it can still give up some of its players in other championships for the transfer window is still open, such as Turkey, Qatar or even Saudi Arabia. Julian Draxler could be concerned, but it is especially the case of Marco Verratti who focuses the attention.

Qatar is now the most likely destination for the Italian international, who has always been sidelined by Luis Enrique since the start of the season, and who has not been retained by Luciano Spalletti for the next gathering of the Nazionale.

Talks continue between PSG and the Al-Arabi club, who have reportedly offered around €50m for the former Pescara player. It is now around bonuses that the two clubs are trying to agree, says Abdellah Boulma.
