Paris Saint-Germain completed the arrival of a major reinforcement this Friday, before the end of the summer transfer window.
This summer of 2023 will have been that of all the fights for the management of Paris Saint-Germain. But at the time of the first assessments, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique can boast of having found favorable outcomes in all the important files. Kylian Mbappé remained in Paris with the prospect of a potential extension. Ousmane Dembélé joined him, like other young elements or in the prime of life, from Lucas Hernandez to Marco Asensio via Milan Skriniar, Manuel Ugarte, Bradley Barcola. And a last choice reinforcement has landed in the capital since PSG has announced the signing of Randal Kolo Muani.
After several days of tough negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt, an agreement was reached for the transfer of the French vice-world champion. The operation would reach 75 million euros plus 15 million euros in bonuses. Kolo Muani successfully passed the traditional medical examination before signing a 5-year contract with the capital club. The former Nantes player had publicly shown his desire to join PSG. He is therefore returning to France a year after leaving France, at the end of a rather exceptional campaign on a personal level, with 27 goals scored and 14 assists distilled in 59 appearances for Eintracht.
A new option for Luis Enrique, who has an XXL attack
By securing the services of Randal Kolo Muani, PSG brings a last option to Luis Enrique in a rich, talented and particularly homogeneous attack line. Kolo Muani, 24, born in Bondy and close to Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé in the France team, also has the advantage of being able to play in the three attacking positions. Its technical palette, very vast, combines the ability to take depth and game of fixation. The French international should be a choice alternative to Gonçalo Ramos for the center-forward position, while having the possibility of helping out on the sides.
