Olympique Lyonnais formalized the arrival of Ivorian defensive midfielder Paul Akouokou, this Friday, who arrives from Betis Sevilla.

With Paul Akouokou (25 years old), Laurent Blanc officially gets his much-desired defensive midfielder.

Olympique Lyonnais and Betis Sevilla have managed to reach an agreement for the transfer of the Ivorian international to Les Gones in this final stretch of the summer transfer window. The amount of the operation is estimated at 3 million euros plus 20% on any capital gain.

The former Majestic FC player, who went through the Ekenäs IF has signed a three-year contract with OL, until June 2026.
