According to Sky Sports, Saudi Arabia is preparing to launch a new offensive to recruit Mohamed Salah before the end of the transfer window.

The transfer window is in full swing, a few hours before it closes. And Saudi Arabia wants more than ever to register the arrival of Mohamed Salah (31) this summer. Despite the intransigence shown by Liverpool, not open to a departure from the former AS Roma, the Al-Ittihad club would still consider revising its proposal upwards.

According to information from Sky Sportsthe Jeddah-based outfit are set to make a €233m bid for the former Egyptian striker.

A record sum that would make the number 11 Reds the most expensive player in history. This in front of Neymar, who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain from FC Barcelona in 2017 in exchange for a check for 222 million euros.

Unless there is a reversal of the situation on the side of the Liverpuldian formation, however, there is little chance of seeing the native of Basyoun leave the Mersey.
