Barca have received an astonishing offer, straight from Saudi Arabia, for their Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski.
Saudi Arabia dreams big. The new El Dorado for football stars has no limits. The Kingdom is ready to spend huge sums to enlist the important figures of the European Big 5. After Mohamed Salah, the Saudi Pro League would now have checked the name of Robert Lewandowski.
According to Sport, a last-minute offer arrived on Joan Laporta’s desk. And it has something to think about the Catalans, since a Saudi club, whose identity has not been revealed, offers 40 million euros for the 35-year-old player.
Barça said no
The same source indicates that the Blaugrana do not intend, all the same, to sell their attacker. Robert Lewandowski would not want to leave Catalonia either. The proposal would thus, logically, have been rejected. It remains to be seen whether a second assault will be planned in this case by the end of September.
As a reminder, Barça offered the striker last year for 45 million euros, from Bayern Munich. The star rookie had a great first season, scoring 33 goals in all competitions in 46 games.
