Paris Saint-Germain is working to reduce its workforce. While the Verratti soap opera can still drag on (the transfer window in the Middle East will still be open for a few days), the capital club is pushing hard to get rid of its undesirables. This is the case of Julian Draxler or Colin Dagba, among others.

For their part, Édouard Michut and Juan Bernat are close to the start. The first city saw Sunderland return to the charge after his loan with the Black Cats. As for the Spanish side, he is about to be loaned to Benfica. And it’s not over, Georginio Wijnaldum is also ready to pack up.

Paris gets rid of Wijnaldum

One year from the end of his contract, the Dutch midfielder returns from an inconclusive loan to AS Roma. Courted in Saudi Arabia, by the Al-Ettifaq club, the Batavian was retained by PSG who refused to release him from his contract. Eventually, things worked out.

The Team reveals that the two clubs reached an agreement last night. The operation will be a transfer estimated at 8 M€. A good resale for Paris which had welcomed Wijnaldum free of any contract in 2021. The player must pass his medical examination this Friday.
