Real Betis have enjoyed a productive summer transfer spell but their business is far from over.
Manuel Pellegrini needs new reinforcements and sporting director Ramon Planes is currently working on several deals.
One of them concerns Philippe Coutinho, who is no longer popular at Aston Villa. According to MD, the ex-Barcelona star has agreed personal terms, and Betis will now look to move forward on a loan deal. However, a deal is complicated at this stage, which worries Pellegrini.
Betis are also in talks to sign Gelson Martins from AS Monaco. According to Reportsigning a winger is a priority for the Verdiblancos, and the Portugal international is one of their options.
Like Coutinho, Martins has already said yes to a multi-year contract with Betis and he is waiting for the green light to travel to Andalusia to complete the deal.
The start of the season is promising for Real Betis, and if they manage to complete these deals, the Andalusian club could be in a good position for a successful season.
