OL: Textor’s little grub

The OL boss was not shy about promoting timeshare during the summer transfer market. Ernest Nuamah is the latest example.

A detail that does not deceive. The press release announcing the arrival of Olympique Lyonnais’ latest recruit on Wednesday evening did not really talk about Les Gones: ” Ernest Nuamah had been the subject, during this transfer window, of many requests from major European clubs and was very seduced by the global project of Eagle Football.. »

OL, chaired for more than 35 years by Jean-Michel Aulas, seems to have lost weight since John Textor took power a few months ago. The structure run by the American businessman, Eagle Football, uses what is now called timeshare.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian left winger, who played for Nordsjaelland (Denmark), is on loan from Molenbeek (RWDM), promoted to Belgian D1, and also held by Textor. And the coach of this Brussels-Capital club is none other than Claudio Caçapa, ex-player and assistant coach of OL.

Jake O’Brien, Irish central defender also recruited in this summer transfer window, played for the U21s of Crystal Palace (Premier League), another entity of Eagle Football. John Textor is one of the owners.
