Crystal Palace is already preparing for the sequel. According to The TelegraphSean Dyche appears to be one of the favorites to take control of the London club if the board decides to part ways with Pierre Sage. The French coach is under more pressure than ever after the home defeat against Newcastle (2-0), which leaves Palace one point from the relegation zone. Sage has won just two Premier League matches since his arrival four months ago.
Free since his departure from Nottingham Forest in February, Dyche has solid experience in the fight for maintenance. At Burnley he achieved two promotions to the Premier League and kept the club in the top flight for six consecutive seasons. He also ensured the maintenance of Everton. Other names, such as Thomas Frank and Vitor Pereira, could also be studied, while Palace must soon face Tottenham and then Liverpool.
