Having become one of the best midfielders in the world under the orders of Luis Enrique, Vitinha logically attracts the attention of the biggest European teams. But Paris Saint-Germain has no intention of parting ways with its Portuguese international. According to information from the Spanish daily A.S.the capital club categorically closes the door to the departure of its 26-year-old player, under contract until June 2029. A position also shared by the main interested party, who would feel perfectly happy in Paris and would like to continue winning titles with the Rouge et Bleu. Despite the regularly mentioned interest of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or even several Premier League teams, no transfer would therefore be possible in the short term. His agent, Jorge Mendes, would have always ruled out potential approaches, respecting his player’s desire to continue his Parisian adventure. On the Real Madrid side, managers and staff members would nevertheless consider Vitinha as an ideal reinforcement for their midfield, without ever having taken any concrete steps to recruit him.

Estimated at 140 million euros, the Portuguese has established himself as one of the essential elements of Luis Enrique’s system. His technical mastery, his intelligence in the use of the ball and his ability to dictate the pace of matches were further highlighted during the recent confrontations against Manchester City and FC Barcelona in the Champions League. Performances which strengthen his status within a Parisian team, double reigning European champion. If Vitinha does not have a release clause in his contract, some rumors suggest the existence of a private agreement likely to facilitate a possible departure. However, there is no indication that the midfielder wants to take advantage of such a possibility. The player would have a particularly strong relationship with Luis Enrique, whose methods and confidence he appreciates.
