Despite the social tension currently hitting the country and the violence experienced this weekend, Laurent Nuñez, Minister of the Interior, has ruled out calling into question the holding of the next matches. This Monday, the politician spoke in Matignon during a press point with Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu.
Laurent Nuñez notably affirmed that “the question does not arise for (Tuesday) evening’s match between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona” in Paris and “for other matches which may take place in the European Cup”particularly in Lille. “The matches are not called into question”he insisted.
