Kylian Mbappé finally received his Ballon d’Or… at least, almost! Guest of “Djadel Show”the French striker was presented with a trophy by comedian Ilyes Djadel, in a funny sequence. All smiles, the Real Madrid player played along with this symbolic discount, which quickly sparked a reaction on social networks. The situation does not lack irony: the program is notably co-produced by Zebra Valley, the production company founded by Mbappé himself. Enough to celebrate with humor an individual trophy which is still missing from the French star’s list of achievements.
This scene inevitably recalls another episode dating from December 2018. For Mbappé’s 20th birthday, Jamel Debbouze then gave him a chocolate Ballon d’Or, a few weeks after his fourth place in the ranking of the award won that year by Luka Modrić. The young world champion appreciated the gesture and joked about this gift, received in the absence of the real trophy.
