If all goes well on the pitch, the day after another victory in the Champions League (3-0 against LOSC), internally, it’s more of a cold shower. According to information from The TelegraphArsenal management has informed its staff that it will make 60 job cuts in a bid to make significant savings. Most club departments are affected.

Only a few are doing well, notably those relating to the men’s and women’s team performance area, community operations, the Arsenal Foundation and security. An internal audit must further refine the distribution of the various budget cuts. This announcement comes just a few days after Mikel Arteta’s extension (2030) estimated at £80 million (€94 million).
