The Ultras Paris Collective continued its commitment to the mobilized high school students on Saturday evening during PSG’s victory against Le Mans (3-1). After the banner “Your militias are repressing, our youth are resisting”, quickly removed by the security of the Parc des Princes, the Virage Auteuil supporters also made their voices heard against Macronism. In the stands, they sang a well-known song from social mobilizations, showing their support for the student movement and their opposition to the President of the Republic.
“ We are here, we are here! Even if Macron doesn’t want it, we’re here! For the honor of workers and for a better world, even if Macron doesn’t want it, we are here! », chanted the Parisian ultras. A new position which goes beyond the sporting framework and prolongs the controversy around the banner displayed during the meeting. The CUP thus reaffirmed its support for the mobilized high school students, in an evening where the political content of the stands was at the heart of PSG news.
