It is already with fear in their stomachs that OM travels to Troyes, Sunday evening at the end of the 6th day of Ligue 1. Penultimate with only 3 points on the clock, Marseille has no room for error against the promoted team. Any result other than a victory would push the Marseille club a little further into crisis.
Problem: Bruno Genesio will be without several players for this meeting, including two executives from his team: captain Timothy Weah, suspended, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, returned injured from selection. The good news, however, is that Amine Gouiri should be able to hold his place at the forefront of the attack.
Amine Gouiri announced as starter for Troyes-OM
Victim of a small muscle glitch in his thigh with Algeria during the international break, the Olympian striker was announced in the group and even a starter by L’Equipe. Igor Paixao on the left and Keyliane Abdallah on the right are expected to support him from the kick-off, with Angel Gomes supporting him in the heart of the game.
In the middle and in defense, Bruno Genesio, on the other hand, risks having to tinker. Tochukwu Nnadi and Himad Abdelli should form the recovery duo in front of a defense composed of Kelyann Bezahaf, CJ Egan-Riley, Nayef Aguerd and Emerson Palmieri, while Jeffrey de Lange would start in goal.
Troyes-OM, the probable lineups
Troyes: Beach – Maronnier, Monfray, Diaz, Donkor – Mille, Diop, Karim – Ifnaoui, Le Douaron, Picard.
Marseille: De Lange – Bezahaf, Egan-Riley, Aguerd, Emerson – Abdelli, Nnadi – Abdallah, Gomes, Paixao – Gouiri.
