The meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Le Mans (3-1), this Saturday evening, was also marked by events in the stands. While several student demonstrations have been shaking the country for several days, the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP) had deployed a banner of support for the mobilized high school students. But the message was quickly removed, angering Parisian supporters, who decided to leave Virage Auteuil in protest. A situation which inevitably got people talking after the meeting, to the point that several players were questioned on the subject in the mixed zone.

This is particularly the case of Lucas Digne, invited to react to the banner and, more broadly, to the protest movement which is currently affecting the country. “I didn’t see the sign at all, I’m sorry. Of course I followed the news, like everyone else. These are political things, we hope that they will be resolved as quickly as possible”explained the Parisian full-back.
