Four days before its trip to Manchester City, PSG logically beat Le Mans this Saturday at the Parc des Princes, for the 6th act of Ligue 1 (3-1).
In a hybrid configuration, with a largely reshuffled eleven at kick-off, the Parisians were however slow to make the difference. If Beraldo quickly opened the scoring from the penalty spot (19th), Mafouta equalized for the deserving Manceaux (54th). Kvaratskhelia (61st) and Akliouche (68th) finally made the difference in the following minutes.
In added time, Doué missed a penalty to drive the point home even further but, this evening, the controversy is elsewhere for PSG fifth in the standings and thus back to three points from the top. In the stands, a banner in favor of the mobilization of high school students ignited the powder: “Your militias are repressing, our youth are resisting”.
Tempers rose as the stewards removed the banner. And the members of the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP), then, decided to leave the spans as a sign of protest. Everyone finally returned to their places shortly before the start of the second half.
