The meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Le Mans, this Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes, gave rise to a small battle between supporters in the stands before the start of the match. Before this confrontation, the Le Mans ultras had deployed a tifo representing an immense snake coiled around the Eiffel Tower. And obviously, this initiative did not go unnoticed by the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), determined to respond to this symbolic attack.
Parisian supporters took advantage of the pre-match to send a particularly spicy message to their Le Mans counterparts. “Like your snake, you always crawl at the foot of Paris”could we read on a banner displayed in the stands of the Parc des Princes. A response which directly diverts the symbol chosen by the Le Mans ultras to recall, with a good dose of provocation, the claimed superiority of the capital club.
