After Borussia Dortmund’s surprising draw conceded in the final minutes against Werder last night (2-2), Bayern had the opportunity to take first place in the Bundesliga, provided they won in Augsburg. Things started badly with a first goal conceded on an error by Neuer in the 6th second of play, becoming the fastest goal in the history of the German championship. The reigning champion was able to react with Saibari (55th), before being led again by Ribeiro (65th). Bayern then pushed and created a multitude of chances. Brown ended up equalizing at the end of the match, but this 2-2 draw was insufficient to take the lead. The BvB is two points ahead.

For its part, Augsburg continues its good start to the season and maintains its 5th place, two lengths from the podium. 4th, Bayer ended up winning on the Mainz field after a spectacular match won 4-3. Moussa Diaby took the opportunity to open his account since his return to Leverkusen by scoring his team’s last goal. In the other matches of this multiplex, Hamburg snatched victory on the Hoffenheim pitch 3-2 with a goal from former Nice player Terrem Moffi. Stuttgart jumped 5 places in the rankings after their 2-0 success at Paderborn and rose to 10th place. Finally, Union Berlin beat Elversberg 1-0.
