Paris Saint-Germain hosts Le Mans this Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes for the sixth day of Ligue 1 and Luis Enrique should take advantage of this meeting to rotate his squad. The day after the international break and a few days before an important meeting in the Champions League against Manchester City, the Spanish technician is planning many changes. Indeed, faced with a promoted player who has shown great things since the start of the season, the Parisian coach will have to find the right balance between management of organizations and sporting ambition.

From then on, PSG should present themselves in 4-3-3 with Matvey Safonov in goal. The defense would be made up of Achraf Hakimi on the right, Zabarnyi and Pacho in the center, and Lucas Digne on the left side. In midfield, Fabián Ruiz, Beraldo and João Neves could be associated. In attack, Mika Godts and Désiré Doué would occupy the wings, while Ferran Torres would be expected in the center. The tenure of the Spanish striker, however, remains a point to monitor, as Luis Enrique’s offensive choices can evolve depending on the state of form of his players.

Luis Enrique faces the headache of turnover

On the Le Mans side, Patrick Videira could opt for a 3-1-4-2 system. Nicolas Kocik would keep the goals behind a three-man defense, made up of Raúl Torrente, Samuel Yohou and Boissé. Alexandre Lauray would be positioned in front of the defense, with Lucas Calodat, Lucas Bretelle, Jean Vercruysse and Rayan Bamba responsible for running the middle and the corridors. In attack, Louis Mafouta would be associated with Habib Diallo. The Manceaux will notably have to compensate for the absences of Adil Bourabaa, best player at Le Mans since the start of the season, and Djibril Sidibé, suspended.

If PSG is the favorite on paper, this meeting represents a real test for Luis Enrique’s choices. The expected rotations could offer playing time to several players while allowing executives to breathe before the European deadline. For its part, Le Mans will seek to confirm its good start to the season by relying on its collective organization and its offensive duo.
