Shakira back in court, judgment will fall

Separated since June 2022, Shakira and Gerard Piqué found themselves in court this week. Their children are at the heart of the discussions.

Together since the summer of 2010, Shakira and Gerard Piqué separated twelve years later. Tired of the infidelities of the former FC Barcelona player, the Colombian singer ended their relationship. She has since moved to Miami with her two sons, Sasha and Milan. The latter regularly go to Spain to see their father, but this has ended up becoming a problem for their mother. The media first returned to what Shakira wants: the modification of a clause in the custody agreement, in order to prevent her children from having to take flights to Spain for short vacation periods. According to the singer’s representatives, the idea is not to reduce the time that Sasha and Milan spend with Gerard Piqué, but rather to share each other’s travel more equitably.

It would therefore be proposed to the former footballer to make short stays in Miami to reunite with his sons. What

Shakira wants to change a clause on her children’s travel

Quoted by the media, those close to Gerard Piqué explained that the 2022 agreement provided for the children of the separated couple to go to Barcelona during the American school holidays for a week. A point on which Piqué had insisted and then accepted that his sons would go to live in the United States. An agreement which, according to these same sources, would have taken a long time to reach, around twelve hours of negotiations.
