Paris Saint-Germain will have to do without two of its executives this weekend. While the Parisians must face Le Mans this Saturday for the return of Ligue 1, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes will not be there. And for good reason, the capital club has decided to grant a few additional days of rest to its two players, in consultation with Luis Enrique and the sports management. A decision which comes as PSG seeks to best manage the organizations of its internationals. For Dembélé, this is not a first since the French international had already benefited from a period of rest at the start of the season. This is therefore the second time that the former Barcelona player has been spared by his club since the resumption of Ligue 1.
“In agreement with the coach and the sports management, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes benefit from a period of rest. They will resume training on Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11 respectively.specified PSG in an official press release. The two players will therefore miss the Le Mans reception at the Parc des Princes, but their return to training is already scheduled. A way for Luis Enrique to preserve two important elements of his squad, while the deadlines will continue to come one after another in the coming weeks. It now remains to be seen how the Spanish technician will decide to reorganize his team for this meeting.
