An Arsenal player has received three Guinness World Records certificates after his first professional season.

Precocity has become common in football. For several years, it has been more and more common to see players aged 16 or 17 playing with the professionals. Last season, Arsenal made a wonderful story by launching the young Max Dowman, born at the end of 2009.

A historic goal

After a few matches during the season, the English player came on during the match against Everton on March 14. He finally scored the first goal of his career at the end of the match and validated the victory for the Gunners. A crucial success in the quest for the title of champion of England.

Three records for precocity

This memorable season for the young striker allowed him to enter the Premier League rankings, but not only that. Dowman received three certificates from Guinness World Records this Thursday. At 16 years and 144 days old, he is in fact the youngest player in history to win the Premier League. His goal against Everton gives him the certificate of the youngest scorer in the history of the English championship (16 years and 73 days). Finally, his entry against Slavia Prague made him the youngest player to play in the Champions League (15 years and 308 days).
