Arsenal: Mikel Arteta's incredible new salary is known

The news was made official yesterday afternoon. Seven years after his arrival at the Emirates Stadium, Mikel Arteta was extended by Arsenal until 2030. Crowned champion of England last season and unfortunate finalist in the last edition of the Champions League, the Spaniard managed to negotiate a substantial salary increase.

According to The TimesArteta signed a four-year contract with an annual salary of €29.5 million! As a reminder, the former midfielder previously received a salary estimated at €18.4 million. With this increase, Arteta thus becomes one of the best paid coaches in the world and his new emoluments are even higher than what Pep Guardiola received at Manchester City (€24.4 million).
