After five days of the championship, Naples’ start to the season under Massimiliano Allegri is far from living up to expectations. The club is already six points behind the leading duo of Roma and Inter and notably suffered two losses against Como and Inter, before losing in the Champions League against Arsenal. Despite the international break, many questions remain surrounding the work of the former Juventus coach.
Frosinone’s reception at Maradona promises to be important for Allegri, especially as his opponent is having a remarkable start to the season. The Italian coach must quickly find solutions to revive a team deemed too predictable in the game and penalized by several injuries. According to La Gazzetta dello Sportthe bookmakers also maintain a relatively low odds concerning a possible dismissal of Allegri, a sign that his situation remains particularly monitored.
