According to information from L’Équipe, Eintracht Frankfurt have refused a new offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Randal Kolo Muani.
Will Randal Kolo Muani be a Paris Saint-Germain player by Friday night? The question has been tormenting all the followers of the capital club for a few days. The French vice-world champion has expressed the desire to join PSG, seduced by the prospect of finding his attacking friends in the France team, Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé. But this soap opera is still far from over.
This Tuesday afternoon, L’Équipe indicated that Paris Saint-Germain had made a new offer to Eintracht Frankfurt to secure the services of the Blues striker. The Parisian proposal amounted to 65 million euros, compensation to which was added the inclusion in the deal of striker Hugo Ekitike, targeted by the German club to replace Kolo Muani. Still according to information from the French daily, this new offer from PSG would have been rejected out of hand by the management of Frankfurt.
The showdown continues for Kolo Muani
The positions of the two clubs are therefore still far apart at the moment. Within the German team, it would be estimated that the amount of compensation would be “very far from expectations”. Where the decision-makers of Paris Saint-Germain believe they have made an effort by including Ekitike in the assembly to lower the amount, those of Eintracht would not have the same perception at all on the supposed value of the former Rémois. Finally, the latter would not have found common ground with Frankfurt on the contractual level. The standoff continues. The next few hours promise to be decisive.
