This summer, Paris Saint-Germain let Gonçalo Ramos go to AC Milan in exchange for €74 million. A nice transfer for an element who was confined to a replacement role. The capital club was therefore forced to replace its Portuguese striker. In the end, the Rouge et Bleu set their sights on Spanish world champion Ferran Torres. A choice that they do not regret since the Spaniard has scored 4 goals in 5 Ligue 1 matches. But before recruiting the FC Barcelona player, the Parisians thought of the Belgian international from Atalanta, Charles De Ketelaere (25 years old). An interest that the native of Bruges confirmed this Friday.

“There have been teams interested, but when you see the transfer sums on the current market, it’s not always easy to leave. I know Atalanta asked a lot. Yes, I think it was around this sum (€50 million, editor’s note). But you have to find a team that does that. In the Premier League, several teams can do it, but it hasn’t happened. I spoke with PSG, but they finally chose Ferran Torres. I’m happy at Atalanta. I know how important it is to be a starter since my adventure at AC Milan. I would like to fight for titles one day. I have this ambition, but I’m 25 and I still have time”he confided to the Last Hour.
