Raphinha is preparing to make a significant change in the management of her career. According to Sportthe captain of FC Barcelona, who has been playing without a representative since his former agent Deco became sporting director of the club, is about to entrust his interests to Ali Barat, owner of the Epic Sport agency. A choice which comes at a strategic moment since the Brazilian is currently finalizing his extension with Barça until June 2030. Several leading agents had tried to convince him in recent years, including Pini Zahavi, Jorge Mendes, Giuliano Bertolucci and Roc Nation, but Raphinha had until then declined their proposals.
The first operation carried out with Ali Barat should therefore be particularly important. Under contract until 2028, Raphinha is negotiating two additional years and should, according to the Catalan media, become one of the best paid players in the squad. Deco recently confirmed that discussions had moved forward, while the player publicly expressed his wish to extend and even end his career at Barça. His start to the season strengthens his position in the negotiations: repositioned as the main offensive reference by Hansi Flick, the Brazilian has totaled 14 goals in eight official matches, including 12 in the first seven days of La Liga.
