Winner of the Ballon d’Or in 2025, ahead of Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembélé had an XXL 2024/2025 season. And he did it again in 2025/2026 after Paris Saint-Germain’s second consecutive European coronation. While waiting to know his ranking at the next Ballon d’Or ceremony, the 29-year-old French international explained that his personal coronation last year was not the most important thing for him.

“Winning an individual award like the Ballon d’Or is obviously exceptional. But when I signed for PSG, the main objective was to win the Champions League. We have won it twice and we want to continue to win it. That’s the most important thing. The memories that you leave with the supporters and with all Parisians are the real victory. Just like the moments spent with my teammates”he confided to the BBC.
