It was with Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench at kick-off that Portugal began its match on the second day of the Nations League against Norway. Short-lived joy, however, for the local supporters since just three minutes after the equalizer, Gonçalo Ramos took advantage of a huge blunder by the Norwegian goalkeeper, author of a full-line restart directly at his opponent, to put Portugal back in front (1-2, 54th).
The former PSG striker now at AC Milan could even have scored his double if the VAR had not finally indicated an offside (59th). This victory allows the Seleçao to occupy first place in group 4 alone with six points. Thanks to a better goal difference, Norway remains second ahead of Denmark, winners a little earlier over Wales.
