Newcastle England defender Jamaal Lascelles was involved in a street brawl which unfolded in the heart of August.

Jamaal Lascelles (29) is making headlines. As indicated by the DailyMail this Tuesday, the captain of Newcastle took part in a fight which started at the exit of a nightclub, The Mile Castlein the evening from Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 August.

According to information from the British media, the England international was present with a friend and his younger brother. The latter would have been the target of an elbow in the head after which the brawl broke out.

The Magpies manager would then have made the decision to intervene, before being attacked by “six to eight men“ armed with bottles. A preview of this scuffle has also leaked on the web in a video where we can see the brother of Jamaal Lascelles covered in blood.

As for the Derby native’s friend, he would have ended up unconscious for about fifteen minutes. Our colleagues specify that no culprit has yet been arrested.
