Rayan Cherki stood out against Sunderland on the fifth day of the Premier League. While the two teams were tied (1-1), the Frenchman took advantage of a mix-up in the opposing area in the 29th minute. After recovering the ball, Cherki shifted to his right foot, his bad foot, before crossing his shot perfectly to deceive the goalkeeper and allow Manchester City to regain the advantage (2-1).

The Citizens’ advantage, however, only lasted four minutes as Brian Brobbey quickly equalized with a double (2-2). The Sunderland striker scored his third goal of the season in the Premier League and continues after also scoring this week against Norwich in the EFL Cup.
