Will Roberto De Zerbi still be on the Tottenham bench after the international break? Nothing is less certain.

After five days of the Premier League, Tottenham have not won a single match. This Saturday, Spurs lost for the third time in the Premier League, at home against Aston Villa, on the fifth day.

The situation is starting to become extremely critical for Roberto De Zerbi. “We don’t say that everything is bad, but it’s not enough,” reacted the Italian technician after the meeting, nevertheless ensuring that he assumed his
“responsibilities”.

Except that the former coach of Olympique de Marseille was quick to attack his players. “We have to defend compactly. Leaders must be leaders and must guide the team,” he warned, before giving a name.

De Zerbi hits his players

“I didn’t like Mateus’ performance today. We need him to give more,” estimated “RDZ”, about the Portuguese international, recruited from West Ham during the summer transfer window for nearly one hundred million euros.

Tottenham already finds itself in a very delicate situation in the standings. With only two points on the clock, the Spurs are in the red zone (18th). Several names are circulating for a possible succession to Roberto De Zerbi, such as Kieran McKenna, Mauricio Pochettino and Eddie Howe.
