Atlético: Julian Alvarez’s new goal

Handicapped by repeated physical problems at the start of the season, Julian Alvarez was only able to take part in two La Liga matches, coming on against Villarreal and Athletic, and starting against Liverpool in the Champions League last week. Suffering from muscle overload, he was unable to play this weekend against Real Sociedad.

Asked about him, Diego Simeone confirmed that he will still have to do without the services of his striker against Osasuna on Wednesday. “From what I have been able to discuss with the doctors, Julian Alvarez is still in the recovery phase. It will not be available tomorrow”declared the Argentine tactician.
