RC Lens: It's official for Toppmöller and his successor

RC Lens formalized this Tuesday afternoon the departure of its coach Dino Toppmöller and revealed the name of his successor.

As announced this Tuesday morning by the daily The TeamDino Toppmöller has officially been dismissed from his duties as coach of RC Lens. Arriving this summer in the North, the German technician will only have managed the Sang et Or for six short matches.

“At the end of numerous discussions devoted to the life of the group, the functioning and organization of the staff, Racing informed its coach of its desire to reshape it. These structuring developments having not been able to be shared by Dino Toppmöller, the club, in responsibility, took the decision to put an end to his mission, as well as that of his two deputies”we can read in the RCL press release.

To replace him, the Lens management decided to appoint his deputy, Yannick Cahuzac. The latter will therefore be on the Lensois bench for the trip to Monaco, this Saturday (8:45 p.m.), for the 5th day of Ligue 1.
