New episode in the legal conflict between Kylian Mbappé and PSG. This Monday, the Paris Court of Appeal sentenced the French striker to pay 60,000 euros to his former club as reported The Team. This decision aims to compensate for the financial damage linked to the unavailability of cash suffered by PSG in the spring of 2025, when the player’s lawyers had the club’s bank accounts preventively frozen to secure the payment of contested bonuses.

If the courts recognized the costs incurred by the emergency opening of a credit line, it however rejected the Parisian club’s other requests. The judges rejected PSG’s claims concerning moral, image or reputational damage, considering the risks of internal disorganization or FIFA sanctions put forward by management to be unfounded.
