The Algerian Football Federation has reportedly activated a particularly promising new avenue. According to information from
winwinthe FAF would be closely interested in Mezian Mesloub, a young midfielder from RC Lens who is already impressive despite his 16 years. The player, capable of playing in the midfield as well as on the right side, has already made two appearances this season for an assist.
The young Lensois especially distinguished himself on Thursday in the Champions League. Launched for the last thirty minutes against Slavia Prague, he quickly had an influence on the match by delivering a decisive pass during the stunning victory for the Sang et Or (2-3). The FAF would have discussed with him the possibility of seeing Mezian Mesloub join the Algerian selections and ultimately make a change of sporting nationality. An approach which would be part of the body’s desire to secure the future of several young talents.
Because the competition promises to be significant. Born in Martigues to a Portuguese mother, Mezian Mesloub can also represent Portugal, with whom he has already played for the U16s and the U17s, but also France.
