Bruno Guimarães waited until this Saturday to score his first goal for Arsenal, and he clearly didn’t do things by halves. Entering at the break against Sunderland, the Brazilian midfielder took advantage of a ball recovered in an offensive phase to arm a powerful strike which came to clean the opponent’s top corner. A real cannonball, reflecting the importance that the Gunners want to give to their recruit, who arrived this summer for an amount slightly above 80 million euros.

This goal above all allows Guimarães to finally start his counter with Arsenal and participate in the perfect start to the season for Mikel Arteta’s men. Still undefeated, the Gunners have only had a string of victories since the start of the championship. After having been somewhat hampered by injuries since his arrival, the Brazilian now intends to establish himself permanently in an already very solid environment and justify the investment made by the London club.
